Richard’s Bar

Third.space was asked to create the interior solution for the Hotels Casino bar - Richard’s Bar. The task has to a large extent been characterized by creating a unique atmosphere that is commensurate with the rest of the old, magnificent hotel and casino.

We create safe and comfortable spaces outside home and away from work. Spaces that build on strong identity and powerful character. Where form and function provide users with the ideal space and surroundings to enjoy life.

Nothing is more important to us than to create an authentic space that generates atmosphere, joyful living and a true sense of belonging.

The process

The old, mirrored ceilings and panels have been preserved to honor the buildings history. We have created zones with different moods and furniture to match the different moods of the visitors.

Based on the bars function description a custom-made bar counter was made to both look breathtaking - but also work perfectly as a modern workstation.

The interior design includes custom-made furniture, light fixtures, wall painting and floor design. Our goal was to create a distinctive design with high durability, that would look great for many years.
