Central hotel located in inner Copenhagen close to Strøget (the main shopping street) and some of the biggest Copenhagen attractions. When you step out the door from the hotel, you immediately sense the pulse of the city.
The hotel chain First Hotel wanted a unique and memorable design with lots of character for their reception / lounge bar at their Copenhagen hotel, Hotel Twentyseven aka H27. There should be colors and ambiance that matched the life in the hotel's location. At the same time, the bar was to function as a reception desk
We create safe and comfortable spaces outside home and away from work. Spaces that build on strong identity and powerful character. Where form and function provide users with the ideal space and surroundings to enjoy life.
Nothing is more important to us than to create an authentic space that generates atmosphere, joyful living and a true sense of belonging.
The process
We have made an overall solution with concept development, delivery and installation of furniture and interior. Our interior designer has chosen a warm color palette with deep colors, as well as a range of different materials and structures, to create just the right atmosphere.
The fun wallpaper with the iconic flamingos gives an edge to the design. The wallpaper, with its many beautiful colors compliments the decor and give the lounge bar a lot of personality.
The architecture of the room allowed us to place a round, sculptural bar in the middle of the room that really brings the room together - and the guests can easily access it from all sides. The bar also serves as a reception desk and is specially made for H27 and designed by our in-house architect.
Pictures have been made especially for H27, and the chosen wallpaper and unique rugs with beautiful motifs and structures, gives an exclusive look and beautiful details. The heavy, blue curtains are a detail, that gives the back wall a different surface and brings a bold club atmosphere into the design.
The lighting with dramatic and concentrated focus in different places in the rooms underpins the luxurious atmosphere, that we wanted to achieve.
The dynamic contrast between the different colors and surfaces creates the atmosphere of immersion, presence, and warmth, that we wanted for the interior design solution.
The hotel and lounge bar will be an intimate space where you can retreat and enjoy a drink in good company. We have arranged several small nooks around the lounge bar with comfortable furniture and an exciting hotel styling.
The meeting facilities have been given an informal and homely atmosphere where companies can meet outside the office. A bookcase has been built around the big screen, so that the screen sets more naturally into the room.
In the decor, First Hotel wanted a real showstopper that guests really would notice. Therefor we chose the iconic Arne Jakobsen Egg in a spectacular gold color!
Throughout the project, we have had a good dialogue with the First Hotel chain, which has been open to many of our ideas. We are pleased to be able to hand over the lounge bar to First's employees and guests.
